About the profile

We are looking for an IT Engineer with a primary focus on network infrastructure support.

This role centers on the operation, maintenance, and ongoing support of LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in network operations, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and day-to-day support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.
  • Manage, maintain and troubleshoot routers, switches.
  • Manage and maintain network security and access control solutions such as firewalls, network access control systems, and secure access platforms (Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Zscaler).
  • Provide L2-L3 support and resolve network-related incidents.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for issue resolution, maintenance, and hardware replacements.
  • Maintain documentation and provide management reports.
  • Participate in network-related projects, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Provide occasional support with Microsoft 365 services and Azure infrastructure when required.

Requirements - Must have

  • Hands-on experience within enterprise networking environments (Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, ISR routers, WLC, Cisco ISE).
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
  • Understanding of dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching topologies.
  • Good communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management.

Requirements - Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 ((Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
  • Experience supporting Azure infrastructure in an operational capacity (compute, networking, storage).
  • Exposure to additional cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
